Without your consent

Nothing is loaded from Google or anyone else, and no cookie is set. The site keeps one entry in your browser's local storage — worknook.consent — so it can remember whether you answered, and when.

With your consent

The site loads Google's tag (gtag.js) for Google Ads. When you arrive from one of our ads and then click a link to the Mac App Store, Google counts that click as a conversion, so we can tell which ads are worth paying for. Google receives the click, the ad click identifier in the page address, your IP address and browser details.

We do not use this for remarketing or personalised ads, we see only totals in Google Ads, and nothing from the website is linked to a WorkNook account. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy and advertising terms.

The cookies

• _gcl_auSet by Google Ads on worknook.app to link a visit to an ad click. Up to 90 days.
• _gcl_awHolds the ad click identifier when you arrive from an ad. Up to 90 days.
• Google's ownGoogle may read or set cookies on its own domains (such as google.com and doubleclick.net) as described in its policy.

Changing your mind

Use in the footer of this page or the home page to accept or decline again. Declining stops the tag from loading; cookies already set stop being read and expire on their own, or you can clear them in your browser. We ask again after six months.

The app

None of this applies to WorkNook itself. The app contains no ads, no third-party analytics and no trackers — see the Privacy Policy.
